With all the attention, and under the spotlight, it is perfectly normal to feel nervous when speaking in front of an audience. Some may feel nervous more than others, but it should not affect your performance. No matter what you do in life, there comes a day in which you will have to present or speak in front of a crowd of people. Just the other week, we had to present our project in front of the entire class and gained some tips along the way. Here are some tips and tricks to take advantage of your fear and make it on your side.
We’ve all been there. We’ve all been told not to take things for granted and to always appreciate what you have. But we really don’t know the true meaning of these words until we have a big life experience that teaches us this lesson, or unless there is a valid argument explaining this. So obviously since I can’t give you an adventure, let’s try and explain the science behind gratitude. Just so we can understand it a little better.
So I know I’ve already talked about Happiness in a previous post, but I still would like to touch on the topic. Why is this? Well for one thing, finals just ended and finally after 2 months since its release, I watched Disney’s “Frozen” and so I would like to talk more about the happiness. Well rather the science of it anyways.
So with the world always moving forward, and people needing to become more innovative I thought it would be appropriate to talk about what it takes to be an innovator and its idea process. As innovation comes, larger scale thinking, motivation, and out of the box ideas are required.
Laughter is something that we, as human beings, can understand. We may speak different dialects and have different culture, but we all understand laughter. Sometimes in life we could use a good laugh. But have you ever wondered what function does it serve? Well as it turns out comedy and laughter plays a pretty big role in our lives whether we know it or not. And even helps our mental health and shows social ability. After all, humans are social creatures, and we thrive off of that.
