Curiosity: The Secret to Success

Curious The reason why society is what it is right now and why human knowledge is where it’s at, is due in part to human curiosity. Why did you choose to read this blog post? Most likely it is because you are curious about the topic of curiosity. Our curiosity is a key to our life and our success. Those who are curious, are seekers in life and not only do they enjoy new experiences, but are also actively searching for answers for the unknowns and challenging themselves to push for the best. The development of this world came from those who wanted to discover the unfamiliar, those who continued to ask themselves questions about how things worked, therefore leading to new inventions, ideas and philosophies in life. That is why curiosity is the secret to everyones success. Those who are always asking questions, will continue to gain new knowledge about the world. Knowledge is unlimited and if you choose explore and discover, then you will know more than the next person, giving you an advantage in this world. Just like in school, the more you read, the more knowledge you’ll gain, and the better you will be. Something my English class did reminded me about this topic. For our BRAWL discussion, we are told to come up with some questions from a book that were to be answered by the class. When we were making up and answering questions, our brain is constantly thinking. When there is a question that is difficult, our curiosity takes command as we are eager to find the answer, so we have to dig back into the book and search and explore.

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go.  -Dr.Seuss
